Remove Pages from PDF
Delete selected whole pages while retaining the other pages in their original order.
Enter the page numbers to remove. At least one page must remain; blank or duplicate selections are rejected.
What this tool does
Remove unwanted PDF pages such as a cover sheet, duplicate attachment or blank page that you have identified manually. Enter the page numbers to delete; the tool keeps the remaining pages in their original order. It does not detect blank pages automatically.
How to use it
- Choose one PDF and inspect which pages should be removed. Page numbering starts at 1.
- Enter the page numbers or ranges to delete, for example 1,4 to remove the first and fourth pages of a five-page document.
- Select Process and download pages.pdf.
- Open the output and check that the intended pages were removed and every required remaining page is present.
A deletion example
Removing 1,4 from a five-page document leaves original pages 2, 3 and 5 in that order. Enter pages to remove, not pages to keep. To create a PDF containing a selected set of pages instead, use Extract PDF Pages.
Whole-page removal is not redaction
This tool deletes whole pages. It does not securely redact a name, account number or other detail inside a page you keep. Do not use cropping or a page image as a promise of secure redaction either. Review the downloaded document for the actual task you performed.
Limits and result checks
Input is limited to 25 MB and 200 PDF pages. At least one page must remain. Removing every page raises “Cannot remove every page.” A blank selection is rejected; enter the pages you intend to delete.
Common questions
Can I remove several pages at once?
Yes. Enter comma-separated page numbers or ranges, such as 1,4 or 2-3. They identify pages to delete.
Are blank pages found automatically?
No. Identify the blank pages yourself and enter their page numbers.
What if I select every page or leave the field blank?
Both selections are rejected. A page selection is required, and at least one page must remain. Enter only the pages you want to remove.
Can this redact information inside a retained page?
No. It removes entire pages and does not provide content redaction.
